AI content comes with rules. draft2cut helps you follow them

Rules about AI-generated content, real people's likeness and personal data differ from country to country, and they keep changing. draft2cut does not replace legal advice. It gives you the records and controls that most of these rules ask for.

In Europe

The European AI Act introduces transparency duties for AI-generated content, and data protection law governs personal data. draft2cut adds a visible AI label and machine-readable metadata to exported video, records every generation, and provides export, deletion and retention controls for your organization's data.

Elsewhere

In several US states, laws on biometric data and on the use of a person's likeness and voice require notice and consent; performers' agreements add their own rules for digital replicas; sanctions and export rules restrict where software may be offered. draft2cut asks you to declare whether each character is fictional or a real person, requires a recorded release and a biometric notice for real people, publishes its retention policy, and restricts access from embargoed countries.

What draft2cut gives you

A visible AI label

On exported video, with machine-readable metadata. Removing it is a recorded, deliberate choice.

A generation log

For every shot, voice and track: the model, the provider, the date and the person.

A rights dossier

The models used and their providers' terms of use.

Consent records

Characters declared fictional or real; a release and a biometric notice for real people.

Data controls

Separation between organizations, export and deletion, scheduled removal of discarded versions, a public list of service providers.

Your own accounts or your own machines

Use your own provider accounts, or engines that run locally.

What draft2cut does not do

draft2cut cannot tell whether a photo shows a real person or whether a release is valid, cannot guarantee that generated material is protected by copyright, and cannot make a project compliant by itself. Keep your lawyer in the loop.
